I really hope you love your order, but if something isn’t quite right, please get in touch and I’ll do my best to help.
Personalised & Bespoke Items
Most of my pieces are handmade, personalised or made to order, which means I can’t accept returns or cancellations once I’ve started making them, unless they arrive faulty or damaged.
This includes personalised embroidered photo gifts, bespoke pet portraits, personalised felt decorations, custom ornaments and anything made especially for you.
Non-Personalised Items
For non-personalised items, you have 14 days from receiving your order to let me know you’d like to return it, and a further 14 days to send it back. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.
Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or damaged.
Faulty or Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please email me at hello@missshellydesigns.com as soon as possible with:

A photo of the item
A photo of the packaging
I’ll then help sort it out for you.

Repairs for Life ♡
My handmade decorations are designed to be keepsakes – pieces to treasure for years to come, not just a season.
Because of that, I offer a free repair service for life on my handmade decorations.
If your decoration needs a little TLC – whether stitching has come undone, embellishments have fallen off, or a tag has peeled away (these things can happen, even with lots of love and care!) – I’ll happily repair it for you.
If I believe your item is repairable, I’ll fix it and send it back to you.
(I won’t be able to repair items that are heavily damaged – for example, if they’ve been chewed or half eaten by a dog – but you’re always welcome to check with me first HERE.)

Please include:
- A note explaining the repair needed
- Your return address
- Your email address (in case I need to contact you)
You’ll just need to cover the cost of posting it to me – I’ll repair it and send it back to you free of charge.

Refunds
Once I’ve received your return, I’ll check the item and process your refund within 14 days. Refunds will be made back to your original payment method.
